A Grain of Salt and Remember

I write from my experience and understanding, offering my perspective, as we all have a unique way of seeing things. I encourage the reader to question, seek, and research. You may see things differently.

The truth is cloaked in a web of deceit in which those who seek it are often caught. It can send your head spinning, sorting illusion from reality. I have found the following be helpful: Take all information with a grain of salt. Meditate or reflect upon information you’ve gathered to see if it resonates as truth. Your heart will tell you. Be open to truth, and be patient with yourself. The dismantling of illusions is difficult. You have more knowledge than you realize. It’s within. Trust yourself.

Love is the most powerful force in the universe.  Allow it to fill your heart and your life. Allow its high vibrational frequency to guide you in your quest for truth, to heal the wounds caused by living in this world, and to bring you inner peace.

Below is a poem I wrote over a decade ago. It was published in my first book, Shattered. I posted it here because it wraps up this blog nicely.

As always, thank you for reading.

Remember

I know you remember,
If you’d close your eyes
And drift;

You’d find what it is
You think you’ve lost
And miss;

And once it’s found,
You’ll understand,
It was always there.

You didn’t give it up,
You didn’t let it slip,
You just forgot
Who you are,
And what you can do.

Turn and face the wind,
Run into the storm,
Be fearless.

Everything you need,
Always has been
And always will be,
Deep inside
Of you.
